The boys were with Ken this year for trick or treating. We took Sophie the "lady bug" to my Mom and Dad's house for trick or treating and forgot our camera. I know we are idiots. Grandpa took some pictures and I will post it as soon as I have them. The boys had a lot of fun and said they got "ten pounds of candy".... wonderful. Sophie was adorable. We went to a couple of my parents neighbors where Sophie said "treat" and enthusiastically picked a candy out of their bowls to put in her bunny purse. She then said thank you and see ya. She was very charming and sweet. All of the older people in my parent's neighborhood loved her. We had a good night.

Finally..... the guy is coming to mud and tape the basement this afternoon!! We are getting closer to being done, and Jake's last soccer game of the season was on Saturday and Isaac's is this coming Saturday so life is starting to become more normal for us now. Jay is still in school but at least he won't have to worry so much about soccer and doing the really hard stuff in the basement! He has worked so hard on the basement and has done a great job considering it's his first time doing something of this size! After it is mudded and taped we just have to do the finish stuff which I can help with. The boys are doing really well in school and Jake is in the GT (gifted and talented) challenge class on Thursdays so we are happy about that. We are hoping it will keep him from getting bored and from getting in to too much trouble. His teacher says, "he is a very smart kid but he likes to talk a LOT"... Isaac's teacher is great this year and says Isaac is doing really well too but also has the talking problem. We are excited to get them in their own rooms so that they can get a decent night sleep. They keep each other up fighting or talking and then they are exhausted in the morning.. and Sophie will be able to have her own place to play instead of the rest of the house looking like her room! :) Bottom line is... none of us can wait to get the basement done! I guess that's all for now.

We took Sophie to the park on Sunday and she LOVED the swings.. she was laughing so hard and holding her breath. When we left she was devastated and cried the whole way home.

Jay is at school tonight...The boys are with their Dad, so it's just me and Sophie Bean. Sophie is running around tearing the house apart. These are the nights I refer to her as Hurricane Sophie. I get everything picked up and before I can sit down to breathe she has ripped through the room again like a whirlwind. She is now watching Shrek 2 for the third time today... I have every word memorized. I guess I will go clean up after the "hurricane" again. It's the story of my life.
